Club33 operates a strict minimum age requirement of 21 years for all members. No exceptions.

Gambling Should Be Entertainment, Not a Problem

Club33 is built for serious Malaysian players who enjoy therill of sports betting, live dealer games, and online slots as form of entertainment. The vast majority of our members engage with the Platform responsibly — they set a budget, stick to it, and enjoy the experience on their own terms.

But we also know that gambling can become harmful for some people. That is not a reflection of weakness — it's a recognised pattern of behaviour that can affect anyone. That's why Club33 invests seriously in responsible gambling infrastructure: real tools, real limits, and real support for members who need it, whether they're in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, or anywhere else in Malaysia.

This page outlines everything we provide: the responsible gambling tools built into your Club33 account, the warning signs worth knowing, and the external support resources available to you or someone you care about — at no cost and with complete confidentiality.

Club33's Responsible Gambling Standards

Strict 21+ minimum age requirement enforced at registration through KYC identity verification.

Deposit limits (daily, weekly, monthly) available to all members — reductions take effect immediately.

Self-exclusion requests processed within 24 hours — no delays, no persuasion to reconsider.

Zero marketing communications sent to self-excluded members — enforced automatically at account level.

Reality check session reminders available in account settings to track time spent on the Platform.

Dedicated responsible gambling support team available 24/7, separate from general customer support.

Your Safety Tools — Always Available

Every Club33 member has access to the following responsible gambling controls, available directly within your account settings — no support ticket required for basic tool activation.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your Club33 account. Reductions take effect immediately. Increases require a24-hour review period — giving you time to reconsider. Available in your account settings at any time.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum loss threshold for any given day, week, or month. Once the limit is reached, Club33 will pause your betting activity for the remainder of that period. A practical way to stay within a planned budget without relying on willpower alone.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. Club33 will send you a notification when your session time is approaching the set limit, and will log you out automatically once it is reached. Designed to prevent prolonged play without awareness of time passing.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break from gambling without fully closing your account. Cooling-off periods of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days are available. During a cooling-off period, your account remains open but all wagering is suspended. Takes effect immediately upon request.

Self-Exclusion

Request a full self-exclusion from Club33 for a minimum of 6 months up to a permanent ban. Requests are processed within 24 hours. Once active, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. Marketing communications are suppressed immediately and automatically.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable pop-up reminders at set intervals (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes) that display your current session duration and net profit or loss. These prompts are designed to keep you informed and in control throughout your gaming session.

Is Gambling StillWorking for You?

Responsible gambling starts with honest self-reflection. The questions on the right are not diagnostic — they're a simple prompt to help you think about whether gambling remains a source of enjoyment or whether something may have shifted.

If you answer "yes" to several of these questions, it may be a good time to use one of Club33's responsible gambling tools — or to speak with a support organisation. There is no judgment here.

Talian Kasih (15999) and GamCare offer free, confidential counseling for anyone in Malaysia experiencing gambling-related difficulties. These are text-only references — contact them directly through their own official channels.

Ask yourself honestly:

If any of these feel familiar, reaching out is the right move.

1

Do you gamble with money that was set aside for essential expenses — rent, food, utilities, or loan repayments?

2

Have you tried to cut down or stop gambling but found it difficult or impossible to follow through?

3

Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently — planning the next session or reliving past wins or losses?

4

Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or used savings to fund your gambling activity?

5

Do you feel anxious, irritable, or low when you are not gambling — and does gambling feel like a way to escape those feelings?

6

Have you concealed the extent of your gambling from family members, friends, or colleagues?

7

Do you return to gamble after losing, with the aim of recovering the money you've lost ("chasing losses")?

8

Has gambling begun to affect your work, relationships, physical health, or mental wellbeing?

If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, we encourage you to speak with someone. You can contact Club33 support to activate self-exclusion, or reach out to Talian Kasih (15999) or GamCare — both provide free, confidential guidance. You don't need to be in crisis to ask for support.

Activating Your Limits

All responsible gambling tools are accessible directly within your Club33 account dashboard under the Responsible Gambling section. No email requests or support tickets are needed for standard activations.

For self-exclusion requests, contact the Club33 responsible gambling team via in-platform live chat and state your request clearly. Self-exclusion takes effect within 24 hours and cannot be reversed until the exclusion period expires.

Setting a Deposit Limit Instant reduction

Log into your Club33 account → Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Deposit Limits. Select daily, weekly, or monthly. Enter your preferred amount in MYR and confirm. Reductions are immediate. Increase requests require a 24-hour cooling period.

Setting a Loss Limit Instant reduction

Navigate to Responsible Gambling → Loss Limits in your Account Settings. Choose the period (daily / weekly / monthly) and enter your maximum tolerable loss in MYR. Once the limit is hit, betting is paused for the rest of that period automatically.

Requesting a Cooling-Off Period Immediate

Under Responsible Gambling → Take a Break. Choose24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. Confirm your selection. Your account will remain open but all wagering and deposits will be suspended for the selected duration. The cooling-off period cannot be shortened after activation.

Requesting Self-Exclusion

Contact Club33 via in-platform live chat and state: "I would like to self-exclude from Club33." Our team will confirm your request and process the exclusion within 24 hours. You will receive email confirmation. Minimum period: 6 months. Permanent exclusion is also available on request.

Enabling Reality Check Reminders

Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Reality Checks. Set your preferred reminder interval: 30, 60, or 90 minutes. During active sessions, a pop-up will display your session duration and net P&L at each interval. You can adjust or disable this setting at any time.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself clearly. These patterns can develop gradually. Recognising them early — in yourself or someone you know — makes it far easier to get support before harm escalates.

Spending more money or time gambling than you originally planned or intended

Chasing losses — placing larger bets to try to recover previous losses

Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not actively gambling

Hiding gambling activity from family, friends, or your partner

Gambling with money meant for rent, bills, food, or other essential costs

Borrowing money or selling personal assets to fund gambling activity

Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities, or health due to gambling

Experiencing persistent guilt, shame, or anxiety related to gambling behaviour

Believing a "big win" will resolve financial or personal problems caused by gambling

Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to reduce or stop gambling on your own

Healthy Gambling Habits

The majority of Club33 members enjoy gambling as a form of entertainment without harm. These habits are what that typically looks like in practice.

Set a Fixed Budget Before You Play

Decide on a specific amount you're comfortable losing before you open the platform. Treat it as an entertainment cost — like a night out — not an investment.

Use Time Limits Consistently

Enable session reminders in your account. Decide how long you'll play before you start — and stick to it regardless of whether you're up or down.

Never Chase Losses

Chasing a loss with a bigger bet is one of the most common harmful patterns in gambling. Accept losses as part of the experience and walk away when your budget is spent.

Gamble Only When You're in a Good State

Avoid gambling when you're stressed, tired, emotionally upset, or under the influence of alcohol. Decision-making is impaired in all these states.

Keep Gambling in Proportion

Maintain other hobbies, social activities, and commitments alongside gambling. If is crowding out other things you value, that's a signal worth taking seriously.

Talk About It Openly

Responsible gambling is easier when it's not secretive. If the people close to you know how much time and money you spend, that accountability is a useful natural check.

Protecting Minors — No Exceptions

Club33 operates a strict minimum age requirement of21 years for all members. This is not a guideline — it is a hard requirement enforced through mandatory KYC identity verification at account registration and at any point during ongoing account activity.

If you are aware that a minor is accessing Club33 — whether through a parent's account, a shared device, or by using false identity information — please report this to our support team immediately via in-platform live chat. Any account found to be operated by or on behalf of a person under 21 will be suspended immediately and all associated funds will be withheld pending investigation.

If you share a device with younger family members, we strongly encourage you to use password-protected accounts, enable device-level parental controls, and never store your Club33 login credentials in an accessible location. Protecting minors from gambling exposure is a shared responsibility.

Internet filtering software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio (text-only references) can be installed on shared devices to restrict access to gambling websites for underage users.
